Winter Poncho…

Well, hello there 2016.  My, my you have snuck up on me!  I truely cannot belive 2015 has come and gone, but what an awesome year it was!  Of course, the last two months of the year are always so busy for me, I tend to lose track of my days of the week, hence, a much needed blogcation.  Sometimes we just need time to zone out because, let’s face it, even when us bloggers travel for vacation… we are still blogging.  I also wanted to be “present” during the holidays while spending time with my friends and family and not be stuck on my phone or behind my computer the entire time.  It was nice.

Back to why you are really here today… This poncho!  Yes, I’m continuing the poncho trend well into the New Year basically because they are just so comfortable (and it helps me hide all those cookies I ate).  It’s kind of comical that I’m wearing something that looks like a blanket, but it looks so chic!      

Faux leather leggings (or real, whichever you prefer) should definitely be in your wardobe for the winter.  Leggings, are just necessary, but the faux leather look can give your outfit a more edgy or dressy feel.

This poncho is also a prime example of mixing browns and tans with black.  It’s definitely okay to do.  Go ahead, try it out!
