Walt Disney World Outfit Ideas
So I’ve discovered that the only vacation I really love packing for is Disney World. There’s something so fun about putting together an outfit for specific Disney parks! It makes me feel even more fully immersed in the magic. I’ve shared some Walt Disney World outfit ideas from past trips, but these are my most recent favorites that I came up with. I tried to keep them simple and comfortable and included a few of Charlie’s Walt Disney World outfit ideas as well!
Walt Disney World Outfit Ideas
1. Minnie’s Besties
Charlie: Similar Gingham Dress // Ballet Flats // Mouse Bows
Me: Linen Off the Shoulder // Linen Shorts // Nike Air Force 1
Charlie and I are huge Minnie Mouse fans, so these looks are inspired by our bestie! Charlie’s gingham dress is perfect for the summer months, and the color reminds me of one of Minnie’s signature looks–the blue dress with the pink bow! We went with these adorable classic Minnie hair bows along with some simple black ballet flats to complete the outfit.
Linen Off the Shoulder // Linen Shorts // Nike Air Force 1
This was for sure one of my favorite looks from the trip. I love the simplicity of a linen set as well as this one’s darling trim detail! Also I can’t speak more highly about my Nike Air Force 1s. Disney World involves A LOT of walking, and these held up so well and tied all of my outfits together.
2. Matching for Epcot
Charlie: One Shoulder Top // Denim Shorts // Melissa Minnie Sandals
Me: Distressed Mom Shorts // Ruffle One Shoulder Bodysuit // Nike Airforce 1 // Disney X Coach Kitt Messenger Crossbody With Patches
I really wanted to create a simple look that Charlie and I could both wear together as we walked around Epcot’s World Showcase, and these adorable black top/denim short combos ended up being the winners. I’ve mentioned these mom shorts in my April Favorites post, and I can’t get enough of them. Charlie’s Minnie Mouse sandals and my Disney X Kitt purse added a bit of Disney flair!
3. A Restful Pool Day
Agua Bendita Puff Sleeve Swim Top // Agua Bendita High Waist Swimsuit Bottoms
We always try to break up our Disney vacation with a pool day in the middle so that we don’t get TOO exhausted from the parks! I decided to pack this swimsuit for the occasion, and it definitely still fit the Disney vibe with the puffed sleeves, classic silhouette, and color for Mickey and Minnie!
4. On Safari
Me: Black Traveler Dress // Oversized Hair Bow
Charlie- Leopard Romper // Ballet Flats
Even though I always keep comfort in mind when going to Disney World, I usually try to dress EXTRA comfy for our Animal Kingdom day. Maybe it’s because Animal Kingdom is the biggest of the four parks, but I wanted a simple look that would get me through a long day of sun and walking. This black traveler dress from Abercrombie & Fitch was perfect, and I added a cute, oversized bow to dress it up a bit.
Leopard Romper // Ballet Flats
I couldn’t resist putting Charlie in this adorable leopard-print romper for our day at Animal Kingdom, and it seemed to be a big hit with her. The romper ties at the shoulders, so it can be easily adjusted for size and comfort. I was a bit nervous about bathroom breaks with this one, but the buttons at the front allowed for two easy changing options!
5. Dapper Disney
Green Gingham Shorts // Green Gingham Crop Top // Rose Gold Minnie Mouse Ears
There’s something about this outfit that makes me want to just spend all day strolling along Main Street USA and peeking into all of the adorable vintage-inspired shops. The rose gold ears are timeless, and this green gingham set is so charming.
6. Pixar Pink
Puff sleeve gingham top // Vintage Cutoff Shorts // Disney x Coach Kitt Messenger Bag with Patches
Charlie said this top reminded her of Little Bo Peep from Toy Story, so I deemed it my Pixar outfit for Hollywood Studios! The sleeves are my favorite part of this top, and I paired it with these vintage cutoff shorts.
Okay, yeah I’m definitely thinking about our next Disney trip already! As always, let me know which of these looks is your favorite!
