Valentine’s Day Kickoff Week….

Happy Monday all! Hope you enjoyed your weekend!  How about that Super Bowl?  I was neutral.  My hubs wouldn’t be happy if I wasn’t routing for the Steelers and well.. they just didn’t make it this year… two years in a row….. Although, I have to be honest… I watch for the commercials.  Can we just say that the Budweiser commercial with the labrador totally melted my heart.  I mean it made me tear up completely!  

We definitely were hit with some snow this weekend though! We had a blast playing in it… I think the neighbor kids had more fun.  There is the PERFECT sledding hill behind our house and I was tempted to go join the kiddos out there.  I’m contemplating a sled for the next snow…. 

Soo it’s officially Valentine’s week on Afternoon Espresso.  I’m going to be a little festive this week (I know it’s a week early).  I’m EVEN going to attempt posting 5 days this week! I KNOW CRAZY!!  I also know some people seriously loathe this holiday, but I like it… I actually saw a quote the other day on Pinterest that had me laughing…”Valentine’s Day: The day that reminds you that nobody loves you.  Well, nobody loves you any other day of the year either, so don’t feel bad.”  Made me giggle.  Holidays are fun, so just embrace them.  Even if it means having a date night with your closest gal pal.
