For the Trendy Sports Fan + Giveaway

After living in Pittsburgh for almost 6 years now.. (Wow can you believe it’s been that long!? )  I’ve become accustom, and even embraced some of the Pittsburgh culture.  One of which, is enjoying every Pittsburgh sport there is.  I’ve fallen in love with hockey!  It gives me such a thrill and it’s always so intense. Let’s go Penguins!  I’m biting my fingers over game 7 right now!  I also love baseball.  It’s America’s past time and there is nothing like sitting out in the warm sun eating some popcorn.  The only game I haven’t been to is a Steelers football game.  I usually just let Joey enjoy those tickets with his buddies.  Mainly because they always get tickets when it’s way too cold.. and if I’m being honest, I’d rather watch at home and be outside freezing.   

  I always try to look cute, even at sporting events.  Just because you are there doesn’t mean you can’t be a trendy sports fan!  I was so excited when Nikki from Belle and Whistles reached out to me to feature one of her shirts!  Nikki is a Pittsburgh gal herself so I immediately made a connection with her!   I am honestly not a fan of fan gear, so I was a little skeptical, but the second I saw this off the shoulder tee, I was sold.  I couldn’t resist how cute it was!  It’s trendy and perfect for any game or just hanging out.  You can dress it up with some heels and a blazer for or throw on some sneakers and jean shorts for a more casual look.  

I totally love the humor.  “Yinz going’ to the game dahntahn n’at”  That my friends are true words spoken here in Pittsburgh.  I like to call them Pittsburghese.   I honestly think it’s cute when someone will say “yinz” .. it’s like the equivalent to “ya’ll”.   Also, if you are looking for some #squadgoals check out these shirts.  

This is a total side note, but I just couldn’t resist putting these pictures up!  During this shoot this darling sweet pea walked by and wanted to join!  She knew how to work that camera…. and she liked to chew on my hair. 

Obsessing over these Madewell jeans… How cute are these buttons?!  They are really comfortable, too.
