Travel Style: Sunshine and Sundresses
Enjoying all of the sunshine and sundresses these days! I stopped by Urban Outfitters one day and immediately fell in love with this dress! The color was the first thing that drew me to the dress. I actually don’t own a lot of yellow pieces and I honestly don’t know why! I love pastel yellow. It’s one of those colors that you can’t help but just be happy wearing it all day. Once I saw the buttons down the front, I knew this dress had to come home with me! Sundresses are quite possibly the easiest thing to wear during the summer months. They keep you cool, they are easy and effortless, and you can wear heels or sneakers with them. If it gets chilly, you always have the option to layer with a denim jacket or sweater! Voila! Easy, peasy.
I wore this while we were at Walt Disney World and it was actually pretty cute because while I was waiting for everyone to get off one of the rides a little girl sat beside me on the bench. I noticed she kept staring at me and I caught her eye one time. She finally said to me, “I really like your dress! It’s so pretty on you!” I thought it was the sweetest thing and it made my entire day.

I think I officially had my first panic attack over the weekend. It hit me that Baby P will be here in no time and I feel so unprepared. I know most people don’t feel prepared. I’m trying to be reasonable about things and take a step back, but I can’t fight this overwhelming feeling about that amount of things I have left to do! I’d love any and all advice on ways you prepped for the arrival of your baby(s)?

LOVE the hat. I’m so jealous at how well you pull that off!!
Question – what camera do you use?
I’m in the market for a new one and I need advice!

Aww Kate you totally made my day! I actually think most of the time hats do not look right on me so THANK YOU!!
For the camera- I use a Canon 6D. I highly recommend spending the money on a full frame camera. It makes a HUGE difference. We also use a 50 mm lens. Nothing crazy pricey (lenses can go up into the thousands of dollars.)

I’m right there with you! My husband and I are expecting July 11 and I feel so overwhelmed and not prepared at all. TIME IS GOING TO GO SO FAST I KNOW IT. I keep looking at my before baby comes to-do list and I’m like omg we have so much to do. I just keep trying to tackle one thing at a time and prioritize. Good luck to you!
