The Layered Prepster…
Well, good afternoon to you my dear! Today, I’m continuing on with my casual Fall vibes I’ve had recently, but putting my spin on layering with a little prepster look. Of course you caught me again wearing the color wine again, and what can I say? I love it.
I actually remember wearing button down shirts with sweaters all the time when I was in middle school. My favorite one was the sweater vest with the long sleeve button up. You know exactly what I’m talking about. It was an attempt at copying Cher’s fashion from Clueless, remember that movie?! I would say the sweater vest is, arguably, still a trend more recently and certainly acceptable for the work environment. I don’t have anymore sweater vests, or I’d totally attempt to recreate it!

In other news, how about all of the madness going on with the Starbucks red cup? Some things perplex me. I try to just go about my own business. I try to just keep an open mind and be considerate of other people and their views because we are all very different. That’s the best part of living in America, it’s a melting pot. I wish people could sometimes remember that and keep an open mind, especially during the Holiday season, no matter what holiday you are celebrating. For me, I celebrate Christmas and I’m happy to shout it out, but I also realize that not everyone celebrates it and that’s okay! “Politically correct” or not, it is what it is and we are a melting pot of traditions, religions, colors, and backgrounds. Let’s embrace it.
