Layering this Target Striped Slip Dress for Spring
I fell in love with this Target striped slip dress the second I saw it in store! Have you noticed how on top of their game Target has been lately with clothing? The Target near my house is going through a major revamp right now, which was much needed, in my opinion. I’m thrilled because they are putting in a Starbucks which will be so convenient not having to make two stops when Baby P comes! They are also making the clothing, shoes, jewelry, and accessories section look more like small boutiques within the store and I have to say I’m in love!
I’ve found some great finds there recently and this striped slip dress is one of them! I actually have a funny story about it. I picked it up about 3 weeks ago, in my normal size. Baby P has been doing some serious growing lately, but I didn’t think twice about it. When we went to take photos, it barely slipped over my chest and was super tight on my belly! Needless to say that delayed the photos while I switched it out for one size up! In a normal circumstance, this slip dress runs true to size, so don’t worry!
I’ve been wearing this denim jacket so much lately because it’s such a classic. I actually didn’t realize how much I’ve been wearing it until I saw on my instagram hahah. I’ll switch it up soon, I promise. It is a great piece to invest in, though! Underneath the jacket, this dress has cute little spaghetti straps that have ties on top of your shoulders so this is going to be the perfect dress to wear during the Summer months as well!
Target Dress (Under $30!) // Madewell Jean Jacket // Marc Fisher Espadrilles (Also Found here) // Chloe Crossbody Bag (Similar Crossbody Bag– Under $50!) // Bauble Bar Necklace // SEE Eyeware Sunglasses (Under $100!) // Michele Watch (Two Tone Watch) // Crystal Dot Bracelet
It’s also sunglasses season!! I am constantly on the hunt for good sunglasses. I don’t like to spend a ton on sunglasses because I typically throw them in my purse, but I also want ones that will last. Over the weekend I checked out SEE Eyewear’s grand opening in Pittsburgh. I literally had 6 pairs I needed to choose from. Each pair of sunglasses is below $100!! I’m not kidding when I’m telling you they feel like a pair of Prada sunnies on my face. That’s because their kind of material snobs, using the finest materials from Italy and France! They said it themselves! Be sure to stop by the store for a personal styling session for sunglasses and regular glasses if you are local or take a peak at their online selection!
