Spring Trends I’m Crushing On + A Few Current Favorites on Sale

I was so excited on Groundhog Day this year when they said that we’d have an early spring! I don’t know if I entirely believe in it, but I’ll accept any promise of warmer weather. As much as I love sweater weather and winter traditions, I’m so ready for the sunshine and the latest spring trends!
I’ve been cleaning out my closet recently and have been on the lookout for some new spring trends to incorporate into my wardrobe! That being said, I don’t necessarily want to buy a bunch of new things at full price, so I’m happy to announce that ShopBop is currently having their spring sale, and there are so many adorable items that fit in perfectly with the new spring trends! Here are a few of my favorite trends and some specific items that are on sale now!
I LOVE the puff sleeve trend; it gives off super cute vintage vibes and creates the illusion of a smaller waist! An otherwise basic outfit can look so much more interesting with a puff sleeve–it’s almost an accessory in itself! I’ve noticed this trend is used in a lot of different ways as well, so there is truly something for everyone. Countless times, I’ve found myself gravitating towards dresses with puff sleeves, but I think sweaters and tops are my favorite puff-sleeve medium right now! I especially love this Forever 21 sweater–it’s lightweight and goes with basically everything, so I find myself reaching for it fairly often!
What are your thoughts on Tie Dye being a trend? I was a little resistant at first, but I’m kind of into it now. When I think of tie dye, I usually envision a super loud, intensely bright version of it, but seeing items like this lounge set made me view it in a whole new way! I love how soft and pretty these colors are, and the tie-dye effect really freshens up the whole look! I recently bought a tie-dye swimsuit for our trip to Jamaica, and I was so happy that I did–I ended up getting so many questions about where I got it! 
These Steve Madden studded sandals are going to be super popular this year, so I would highly recommend ordering now! Yes, that means even if there is snow on the ground outside, order these! By the time spring actually hits, I anticipate these selling out. I actually have this studded pair from last year, and I took them on our trip to Jamaica! I love them so much!
Ok, ok, I know denim shorts aren’t exactly a shocking spring trend, but it’s one worth mentioning! I never mind investing in denim because I wear it all the time. It’s important to have quality denim so that it lasts wash after wash.
Last year, I discovered how much I love these denim shorts and I’m going to buy my second pair this year! I did size up TWO sizes in them because I wanted them to be a little longer and I also don’t like my shorts tight at all. I’d prefer them to be a little more like a boyfriend style. I always use this sale to “stock” up on some of my wish list items I have throughout the year. Also, thought I should note: This sweater is always on repeat (winter and spring) and there are some fun new spring colors! I’m thinking about the lilac!

This Wayf blouse is one of my favorite spring staples! It fits the puff sleeve trend and also has the added touches of lace and florals–PERFECT for spring! It’s on sale now and comes in brand new colors for the season. Even more exciting? You can now purchase a dress version with the same pattern and design! It miiigghhhttt be a bit excessive to buy this blouse in every color with a matching dress, so I won’t do it…but that doesn’t mean I don’t wish that I could!
I was always curious about these lace bike shorts so I finally took the plunge and bought them with zero expectation of keeping them. YOU GUYS. I’m obsessed. They are the most comfortable things ever. Obviously, I can’t go wearing these out of the house as an outfit, but I wore them on our trip with cute little crop top for lounging around our room and patio! You could also layer a solid pair of shorts over these and let the lace hang out the bottom. It would be so cute! I’m considering buying them in black also- they are THAT comfortable.
This entire outfit is on sale, and I’m definitely in love. You can never go wrong with denim from Madewell, and these jeans are my absolute favorite. I decided to pair them with this incredibly soft Angelic sweater. This made for an easy spring look that is super comfy and can be dressed up or down! I chose to add these Villa Rouge booties, and I think it was the right call! These heeled booties are adorable and sleek, and seamlessly pull the entire look together.
