One of a Kind Shopping Experience with Larrimor’s in Downtown Pittsburgh, PA
A few weeks ago I stopped by Larrimor’s in Downtown Pittsburgh, PA to check out their new Spring arrivals and learn a little bit more about the company. I’m always looking for new places to shop where I can purchase some unique finds! I was able to chat with one of the store owners, Lisa, about the buying process and her history within the company!

I was thrilled to find GIGI New York in the store! This is a brand I’ve never seen in the Pittsburgh area. I had to ask her about it when she told me she used to be a buyer in NYC. Larrimor’s carries several of my other favorite brands like Vince, Rebecca Taylor, JBrand, AG Denim (my major go to lately), and Bond No. 9. I became familiar with Bond No. 9 perfume when I worked at Nordstrom, however, they no longer carry the brand at least in the store here in Pittsburgh so it was really nice to see that Larrimor’s had a wide selection in stock!
Of course, I picked up a few pieces while I was there! I found this adorable Lila P. floral print top and immediately fell in love! It’s so feminine but casual at the same time. I also picked up a GiGi New York clutch that I desperately needed. Lately, I’ve gotten into the bad habit of leaving loose pens and lipsticks in my handbags. I either lost them or I get pen marks and lipstick all over the inside of my bag, so I thought this GIGI New York clutch would be the perfect solution to that or it can be worn simply by itself like I did in this photo shoot! In typical Gigi Fashion you can even get your initials stamped onto your bag. Larrimor’s takes care of this service for you so you can do a cute monogram and make your bag more customized.

The Larrimor’s Experience:
Shopping at Larrimor’s is not like shopping at any other department store. I would definitely encourage you to stop by if you are visiting the Pittsburgh area or if you are local! The environment is so friendly and my expectations were met above and beyond. The employees are there to help you find exactly what you need (or don’t need rather ;-)) While I was there, I felt as if I had my own personal shopper to help me find the perfect outfit in my price range. Larrimor’s kindly offered coffee, tea, and water to drink before taking me on a tour of their massive fitting rooms. This allowed some one on one time with Lisa to discuss exactly what I was looking for.
Each customer experience is tailored exactly to your needs. If you are someone who needs a lot of help while shopping, they can provide that service. If you are someone who kind of knows what you want but maybe you aren’t familiar with the brands and fit, Larrimor’s also provides this service. Lisa told me the cutest story of a Father wanting to get a new wardrobe for his daughters. He seemed a little unsure of what the girls needed and their styles so the girls ended up coming in for a personal styling daughter/father shopping date which was a huge success!
