Preppy in Plaid

Today’s look is perfectly preppy in plaid!  I am always up for a preppy look and when this dress came in the mail, I knew I wanted to really emphasize the preppy in plaid theme!  The best part about this dress is that it can be worn many different ways!  Another idea I had was to wear some over the knee boots with a faux leather jacket to make it look really edgy!  Of course, I’m sticking with blush, Pantone’s color of the year.

It’s still a little chilly in Pittsburgh ( actually, it’s calling for snow this weekend…) so my long coats are not packed away yet. 

One of the things I love about this dress is the shape! The slight fit and flare look give this dress a really feminine shape.  The sleeves make this dress a perfect transition style into spring!

Can we talk about why on Earth is it calling for snow this weekend!?!?  I honestly thought we were finished with the snow.  This honestly makes me want to cry a little.
