Pittsburgh Week: Espresso A Mano….
Now, you all know that I could not possibly do a Pittsburgh week without a coffee shop. Espresso A Mano is hands down, my favorite coffee shop (espresso bar) in Pittsburgh. I was first introduced to Espresso A Mano by Joey and our friend, Chris. He lives right around the corner and told me that we had to try it. Clearly, I was not disappointed.
I love any place that really emphasizes “using local” when possible and Espresso A Mano even carries many varieties of direct trade and organic coffees.

The perfect espresso. The perfect froth. The perfect pour and tilt of the cup.
Pure perfection! I am actually very particular about my coffee and lattes because I used to work in a coffee shop so I know how they should be made from texture to temperature. I love that every time I come to Espresso A Mano, I’m going to get a consistently perfect latte.
This is what sets expert baristas aside from the ordinary ones. How cute is this little design?! I get the biggest grin anxiously awaiting to see what design the barista will come up with for my coffee that day. Now you see why the perfect froth, pour, and tilt are so important.
Aside from the coffee, I absolutely love the atmosphere here. It’s very casual, relaxed, and inviting, but still has a very busy vibe. The tables usually fill up quickly, but if you can get one it’s the perfect spot to do some people watching. You can always find an eclectic array of customers (I mean this in a good way) coming and going. It’s also a good spot to zone out and dive right into some work!

I hope you all have enjoyed my first edition of Pittsburgh Week! I had so much fun working on this project and I love getting to share my city with you all! A huge thank you goes out to Samantha May for going all over the city with me and taking all of these amazing photos! It’s always a blast working with her.
I still have so many more things to show you, I may have to revisit a Pittsburgh Week for Fall! What do you think? Should I do another Pittsburgh Week for you?
Get the look!
