The Perfect Fall Boyfriend Blazer and Pink Velvet
I love a good boyfriend blazer! They are my absolute favorite because you can dress the up or down, which is 100% necessary with my life these days. I need versatile pieces. If i’m being honest, I also need pieces to hide my baby fluff. (Doesn’t baby fluff sound so much better than “baby weight” or “baby fat?”) Even prior to Charlie, I always had a difficult time finding blazers that would work because my arms at bigger than what my clothing size called for. I would be stuck with something that looked too big around the body but fit in the arms, or too tight in the arms but fits perfectly on the body. The struggle is real. However, I find that opting for a boyfriend blazer actually resolves my problem.

Back to what I was saying about the boyfriend blazer being versatile. You can still make it super feminine like I did with this velvet skirt (In case you don’t have anything velvet for the winter months- grab something now because it’s on major trend). You can also tone the boyfriend blazer down with a hoodie and your favorite pair of jeans. One piece-two ways!
One more trend that I’m loving this year is the sock bootie! You MUST own a pair. They go perfect with cropped denim, skirts, and over leggings. Libby Edelman just teamed up with JCP and has such a cute selection shoes like the ones I’m wear! You can check them out here.
One trend I just cannot get into is the white shoes and booties. I mean they are everywhere. I see them on other people and I like it, but when I go to pick out a pair for myself, I just can’t make the plunge. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good white sneaker, but I don’t know about the boots and booties. Any thoughts?
