Pencil skirts are not just for the office…
Hoooray for FRIDAY!! I’m still trying to catch up from being gone last week–shew.. Do you ever feel like you need a vacation after a vacation? Crazy right? Anyway- I hope you liked Wednesday’s edition of how to wear boots a million different ways :-p. If you missed it- here is the link! Today, I wanted to show you that pencil skirts are not just for the office. They can be very trendy and versatile. With the right shoes- they can be very casual or really dressy. I had a TON of pencil skirts from back in my accounting days and I hate that they are just sitting there looking all lovely, collecting dust. I decided that I was going to figure out a way to wear them. Here is it! It was so easy to add a cute sweater and booties. Did I mention how I’m loving this little ankle sock trend with booties?? How cute?!! I honestly never thought I would be wearing ruffled socks again.. but I like it.

Pencil skirts are my go-to. Love the yellow one! Also, the booties with socks. I need to try this – thanks for the inspiration.

I love this skirt on you and the color looks great with grey, which is one of my fav colors of the fall. I see ankle socks on the runways with heels, boots, I like the style, not always wearing tights.

I LOVE pencil skirts! They are so versatile and also very easy to look dressed up, even if you pair them with just a tee. 🙂 Love the color of your skirt!
