Happy Monday!! I hope you had an amazing weekend. There was some gorgeous weather the last two days here in the states, so I hope you were able to enjoy some sunshine! I am a little jet lagged, but I’m managing :-p. We had an amazing vacation. I just cannot tell you how much I love exploring different areas of the world. Now, it’s time to get back in the swing of things… starting with a good work out this morning. {I simply could not resist those little chocolate croissants… oh they were amazing- so flaky and the perfect texture of chocolate. YUM!!}. I was also hoping to stumble upon Ina Garten while we were in Paris, but that didn’t happen :-(. She is my fave!! I did end up finding up via her Instagram she was actually there at the same time! We saw some awesome sites and learned the history, met some locals, and ate amazing food! To me, that’s a successful vacation.
Whether you are going to Paris or any other European destination, there are a few essentials I think are a must. {Actually, I think a lot of things are a must… I have no idea what it means to pack “light.” I honestly do try. } BUT some things you really should have are comfy shoes, layers, layers, and more layers-including scarves and light jackets, an umbrella {we learned that the hard way}, and my handy dandy Rick Steves’ books. So far these guides have gotten us through 2 countries pretty well. Thank you for stopping by today! I’ll be posting some outfits this week on the blog from our trip!!
So where is your next travel destination?? Tweet me @ashleypletch3 and let me know!
