Mommy In High Heels…

Hello, Afternoon Espresso readers! I am super excited to be filling in for Ashley while she is away! When I am not blogging at Mommy in Heels, I am running my boutique (that JUST opened its doors May 1!) Elizabeth & West Fashion House. It is my dream come true-so cliche to say, but so true! If there is one thing in the fashion world that I have loved to see transform (for the better) over the years it is the one piece swimsuit. I remember when I was younger I used to think how bad it must suck to have to wear one pieces (I guess I was a shallow teenager?) because they were always so ugly, plain, frumpy. Now that I am a mommy and can certainly not get away with wearing one pieces, I am forever grateful that they are a million times more stylish than they used to be!

Here are several of my favorite one piece bathing suits that are currently available. I want all of them! Every single one!!

I know I am typically a bargain shopper, and like to purchase relatively inexpensive things, but swimsuits are one thing that I will spend some money on. I want it to be able to last for several summers, and I don’t want it to fall apart after all of the sun, saltwater and chlorine exposure. To me, it is something I will invest in. 
I typically also like bathing suits that have straps, or if they are strapless, they have the option to add them. With two children, I just can be worried about anything falling out!! 
What I love to do is actually make a whole outfit out of my swimsuit. I usually love to purchase longer coverups (I can’t get enough of maxi’s!), and toss on a matching fedora and casual flip flops (I don’t do wedges in the sand…I don’t know how anyone can!). I just feel a lot more put together!
