Making Life’s Special Moments Sweeter with Brusters Real Ice Cream

We are DEFINITELY an ice cream kind of family. No matter what the occasion, there’s nothing better than a waffle cone and some hand-scooped goodness. One of my favorite parts about being a mom is creating new traditions with Joey and Charlie to continue for years to come, and ice cream nights are one of our absolute favorites! In August, we will celebrate Charlie’s 3rd birthday, and I can’t think of a better way than with a Brusters Real Ice Cream party!

Since we’re not having an official party for Charlie this year, we had to brainstorm some extra special ways to celebrate, and ice cream instantly came to mind! We had a big, ice cream-themed birthday party when Charlie turned 1, but this time we wanted to do something smaller and more intimate. Brusters Real Ice Cream is my go-to for celebrating our special family moments, so this time was a no-brainer. It’s so easy to order personalized ice cream cakes, fresh waffle cones, and delicious ice cream flavors, and watching Charlie’s face light up is always worth the mess of rainbow sprinkles! 🙂

Charlie loves pretty much any flavor of ice cream as long as it has sprinkles, of course.   Brusters has over 150 flavors in their repertoire to at least 24 fresh flavors on the menu at a time, so it’s always so hard for Joey and me to choose what we want for ourselves! Something we can always agree on, though, is that we HAVE to have the crunchy waffle cones that they make in store! We love to grab a few hand-packed pints of ice cream, waffle cones on the side, and even some toppings to create our own ice cream masterpieces! This year, we might also have to add an ice cream cake to our order as well because why not?! It’s so fun to watch Charlie get to taste everything and get her hands in there with the toppings now that she’s older–I still can’t believe that she is already going to be turning 3!

Decorations are always another super easy way to make a birthday special! I like to buy colorful streamers and balloons to decorate our house with, and it is so fun to watch Charlie’s face light up when she notices them. Knowing us, we’ll end our mini birthday celebration with a Disney movie of Charlie’s choice and lots of snuggles on the couch.
