Madewell Inspired Style

Good morning and happy Monday!

I completely pulled this inspriation from Madewell, one of my favorite stores to shop at!   It’s a little edgy.  Actually any time I add a leather jacket to anything I wear, I consider it edgy.  For my normal style, leather jackets are actually edgy, but sometimes it’s good to step out of the box and deviate from your “normal” style.  The key to doing this is still keeping the elements that make you, you.  With this look, the booties are such a stanard look for me as well as popping on the occasional flannel.

How was your Valentine’s Day?  Ours was so nice!  We had two date nights and it was just so nice to not really have much to do other than just hanging out this weekend!  We tried a new restaurant at the Ace Hotel in Pittsburgh called The Whitfield.  It was AMAZING.  I mean… amazing.  I honestly cannot wait to try their brunch, because you all know brunching is my favorite thing to do!

I’m going to miss doing all the cute little Valentine’s things though!  I made heart shaped rice krispie treats and kind of went a little crazy with pink and red!  Is it still acceptable to wear that combination or is too Valentine like?
