Hi, there! It’s been quite a while since you’ve seen me in your inbox or on the web. After having Charlie we jumped right into holiday season and life was a whirlwind after that. Living and learning seems to be a constant theme in parenthood. In that case, I took on a little more than I could handle. We needed to take January off and just enjoy some time together as a family. Of course, time has flown by and here we are flying through February.
To be honest, I’m not really ready to get back into blogging full swing yet. I’ve had some time to reflect and I’m still trying to figure out where the blog fits into our new life. It’s always been something I love doing, but it is something that takes up a lot of time. A lot of people don’t realize how time consuming it actually is to run a blog. I wear all the hats: creative, photographer, marketing department, social media manager, content creator, stylist, the list goes on and on.
I think I’m going to take a slight step back from what I used to do and go a different direction with Afternoon Espresso. You can bet I’m still going to wear outfits, and naturally, there will be mom and baby posts, too. After all, it’s my life now. I also want to dabble a little more into the home decor sector. I’ve shown you a little bit of my house, but per your request on a poll I took on Instastories- Home Decor is the number 1 thing YOU GUYS want to see! I’m actually very excited about the new changes to come. I always love your insight, so if there is anything you really want to see or a topic you want discussed, send me a message on any platform!
Life Update With Charlie
I never knew how fast time could fly until we had Charlie. I can’t believe this little angel baby is 5 months old already (actually she is almost 6 months!) It has been so amazing watching her grow and learn and explore this big world. She is sitting up mostly on her own, grabbing things left and right, and rolling over to her stomach and back.
Nothing, and I mean NOTHING gives me all the feels more than hearing her just giggle out loud. It literally melts my heart, makes me smile, and brings a tear to my eye every. single. time. Oh, boy can she be a little firecracker, too! Obvi, she gets that from her Daddy ;-). She’s our little human. I still look at her and cannot believe I’m her mom. It’s a good feeling to have.
I can’t wait to share some more with you guys about what we’ve been up to! In the meantime, Like to Know it has an App that is so GOOD. You can now “Follow” me via the app and shop all my instagrams in one place. This is so much easier than getting an email like the old way. It’s like a shoppable instagram.
