Lavender Fields
Aloha! I hope you are having a wonderful week so far! I was so excited about our visit to the lavender farm, I wanted to go ahead and share this fun little adventure with you, all the way from Maui!
I love lavender. I love the smell of it, I love it in cocktails, and even in my food! My friend Ali has suggested doing a lavender honey cupcake and I really want to try that out!
Lavender is also just beautiful to look at and I love the health benefits you can get from it. I actually put lavender essential oils by my bedstand with this diffuser every night. It’s calming and it supposed to help you relax. So as you can tell I’m pretty passionate about this plant so it was a no brainer to see Ali’i Kula Lavender farm on our trip.
So far, Maui and my hair do not get along ( lots of humidity) so my hair style lasts about 20 minutes and then it’s done, so excuse that mess. Clothing wise, sun dresses have been the clothing of choice so far on this trip. They are so easy and comfortable. Accesory pieces had to include my Jord Watch. How perfect is this wooden watch for adventures in Hawaii? I just immediately thought of this watch when packing for this trip. The color goes with anything and the wood just really reminded me of something you would wear in Hawaii. You can see more of my packing tips/essentials on my “Let’s Go to Maui” post!
