It’s Still Fall….(but Christmas is on my Mind!) + Giveaway
I’m pretty sure November 1st hit and the entire world thought it was Christmas Eve! There are already Black Friday Sales happening (WHAT?!) and I’ve seen several Christmas commercials. Poor Thanksgiving totally gets overlooked. I kind of feel bad for that Holiday! Haha.. I’m not going to lie, though. Christmas is on my mind and the fact that this year flew by so quickly. New Year resolutions? Already?

I’m really looking forward to seeing Charlie’s reaction to the Christmas tree, the lights, but also the time we will have together as a family and holiday traditions. I also don’t want to RUSH it here. It is still Fall, after all.
Maybe this is just me, but I feel like when the holidays are just being pushed so early or not necessarily the holidays, but the next thing (summer, events, what have you) I feel like we fail to miss what’s happening right in front of us. The second I hear everyone talking about Christmas, I begin to stress and think oh my gosh, I’m so behind. I have this and this to do. I need to get started.
Being present is a concept that has become so dear to my hear since having Charlie. I certainly don’t always do this, but I definitely try to be present and in the moment. You may have noticed that I don’t post as much on my blog or social media as I did before. This is why. Sometimes I just want to enjoy the moment. Sometimes I don’t want to rush through life trying to manage social media so I can get a good video or photos. I just want to live. I want to see with my own eyes and not my camera what is happening before more and cherish those little moments, those little hugs, those little kisses, and cuddles. My goal is to get to a point where I can blog more (it is my job and I do miss it a lot!), but I’m not quite there yet. Also, don’t get me wrong because capturing moments with a camera is also a love of mine.
Anyway, I’m not ready for a peppermint mocha- I’m going to enjoy my PSL a little while longer (while trying to maintain my thoughts gravitating toward Christmas.) The trees are finally turning those beautiful vibrant colors here in PA. I’m loving every moment of it. Don’t miss the present thinking of the future. Take a minute and just enjoy!
