It’s probably a little too early for my excitement, but the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is less than a month away! This is, by far, the BEST sale of the year. Let me tell you why… It’s not a clearance sale where a company is getting rid of merchandise in order to make room for the new season’s merchandise. In fact, it’s the complete opposite. It’s BRAND NEW FALL merchandise that comes in, already on sale! Once the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is over, the merchandise goes back up to full price.

The Anniversary sale is what I call my “stock up” time. This is where I purchase good investment pieces like coats, denim, handbags, sweaters, and my favorite beauty products! I’m so excited to add baby clothes and items to the list this year! It was an area I never really searched before during the sale so I cannot wait to see what they have.
I also start my Holiday shopping during this sale, too! It’s never too early to start. It is too early to start playing Christmas movies, though. That, I won’t do. Although, my husband is forever singing Christmas songs around the house during 90 degree weather. It drives me crazy, but I secretly think it’s the most adorable thing ever.

Public Access: July 21- August 6
The perk of being able to shop Early Access is having first pick of the sale. The best items will sell out very quickly, and sometimes, even before the Public Access begins. You are required to have the Nordstrom Credit card or the Debit card which will earn you points on your purchases. I have the debit card because it just links to my normal checking account. Trust me, it’s worth it. –> This is coming from the person who cannot stand to be “sold” credit cards or reward cards when I’m shopping. It’s a huge pet peeve of mine.

On to this cute gingham number! After all this talk about sales, I have to tell you that this dress is currently on clearance for $16! It’s too cute, I couldn’t handle it. It’s also non-maternity! I told you, I would be living in dresses this summer because no pants for me!
