Friendsgiving…
Over the past weekend, Joey and I had the honor of co hosting Friendsgiving at our house with The Pittsburgh Dinner Club. The Dinner Club is a group of guys in Pittsburgh who get together on a weekly basis, alternating houses, and bond over their passion for cooking delicious food. Over the past year or so I’ve been lucky enough to be able to indulge in some of the Dinner Club’s creations and I can’t do anything but rave about the guys and their creativity, passion for food, and hard work. These guys are food geniuses and are a blast to hang out with, so when they asked to have Friendsgiving at our house, you can imagine how excited I was! These guys did not disappoint with their original recipes- some classic with their own twist and other not-so-typical Thanksgiving dishes including a Turducken ( Duck, stuffed in a chicken, stuffed in a turkey– Amazing? It was.), roasted cauliflower soup, Fall squash curry, creamy mashed potatoes, Nana’s cornbread ( the BEST cornbread I’ve ever had), chipotle corn casserole, roasted brussel sprouts, and Thanksgiving dressing to name a few. Meet the guys below and take a glimpse of what Friendsgiving was like 🙂 Be sure to check out their website to learn a little more about them here.
