Friday Favorites
Happy Friday!! OH-EM-GEE where did the year go?? I cannot believe that it’s almost 2014, but I’m super excited about a new year. Out with the old and in with the new! I’ve decided that I’m really going to dedicate myself to stepping out of the box this year with some fabulous fashion. Why not? I always feel the most confident when I know my outfit looks great. Speaking of new… I am thrilled to be co-hosting Friday’s Fab Favorites by Lauren at Style Elixir (She is brilliant! I would highly encourage checking out her blog) along with the very fashionable Rebecca from Mommy in Heels and the oh so chic Kaitlin from Tea & Sequins.
So speaking of changing it up a bit, these pieces are certainly on that list. You can never go wrong with a classic black and white outfit. The Kensie blazer layered over the Pleione mesh top from Nordstrom goes perfectly with this cozy skirt from Topshop. Then… those booties are just to die for! I don’t go “out of the box” with my shoe choices, but these Rachel Roy booties would be the perfect first pair to start! I also hardly have anything red in my closet. It’s not that I don’t like it, I just never really gravitate toward the color, but I think adding a pop of red with the Michael Kors purse and Mac lipstick really makes this outfit stand out.
