Staying Cool in Charleston with an easy Old Navy Dress
Two weekends ago Joey and I travled to Charleston, SC for a long weekend, so I’m going to be recapping our whole trip this week, including a city guide! Charleston completely stole my heart. I had a feeling prior to going there I would fall in love with its southern charm. Maybe it was all of the pink buildings, the perfectly tree lined streets, or the fact that house addreses were actually written in halves ie: 2 1/2 Charleston Drive. There was something cute and charming around every corner.
I actually always wanted to live in the Carolinas ever since I can remember. I love the sun beaming on my skin and anywhere that is close to a beach is going to make me happy. Unfortunately, Joey’s industry is limited on where we can actually live so for now we will just vacation to these types of places.
One thing about the South that I’m not accustomed to is the high heat plus the humidity. Humidity can be extremely rough. Of course it messes your hair up to. I’m not even sure why I styled my hair most of the time I was down there because the second I walked outside my hair was a fluffy mess. I knew this would be the case so when I was packing I tried to think of pieces that would be easy, comfortable, and cool. This Old Navy dress was PERFECT. It accomplished everything I needed plus it’s one of those pieces that I’ll wear over and over again.
Old Navy Dress ( 35% off and 6 different colors!) // Sole Society Shoes ( similar Version) // H&M Belt // Chloe Bag ( Budget Friendly version also 35% off) // Link Bracelet // Henry London Watch // Denim Jacket (This would be so cute with a denim jacket for Fall!)
We had the opportunity to partner with Zero George Hotel during out stay so I’ll be doing a post about that little gem this week, also.
