Coffee Confession Time with Thermos

It is indeed Monday, and after a whirlwind of a weekend, it’s the perfect day for coffee confession time.  Today, I’m going to be surviving on coffee to keep me going!  Sometimes I honestly wonder what on Earth I would do without coffee?  I suppose literally speaking I would survive, but mentally speaking, I’m not so sure.

After celebrating National Thermos Day by testing out the Thermos stainless steel beverage container and it’s capabilies to keep my coffee piping hot for up to 24 hours, I realized… well, I was reminded of how important hot, fresh coffee is to me!  You guys know the love affair I have with coffee.  It’s just part of my daily life and it’s never going to change!  It gives me a burst of energy!  It’s comforting and familiar, and part of my daily routine…Without it, I’m an actual bear and I go to some long lengths sometimes to make sure I have my coffee…  Actually….it’s coffee confession time…

Some days when I realize I’ve had too much caffeeine for the day, but I still want the comfort of a hot cup of coffee, I’ll make decaf.  I always, always keep a package of decaf coffee handy.

My second coffee confession…It is rare that I ever run out of coffee.  I mean very rare.  I am more likely to run out of milk, creamer, cashew milk, etc., which definitely happens from time to time.  I can’t drink black coffee,  so when I am completely all out of any of the above mentioned items, I panic, of course… but then I reach for some hot cocoa mix!  It makes the coffee sweet and creamy!  Ahhh…. problem solved!

My third coffee confession is that the very first thing I do in the morning is I grab my robe and go straight to the coffee pot.  There is no talkie before coffee.  There is no passing “go” and collecting $200… It is directly to the coffee pot!
