24 Hour Coffee Challenge with Thermos

Make a pot of coffee.  Drink it 24 hours later?  Hmmm…. When Thermos asked me to participate in their 24 Hour Coffee Challenge, I couldn’t say no.  I was completely skeptical and honestly, I didn’t really know what to expect.

To my surprise, I received a package early Saturday morning, with what I assumed had the Thermos Stainless King™ beverage bottle in it.  We were actually having a yard sale that day so I was so caught up in getting ready for that I totally forgot about that package.  Fast forward to about 1:30 pm, I finally realized I hadn’t opened my it yet.  I decided to take a peak and look inside.  Oh!  There is actual coffee in this Thermos container!   The skeptic in me was already thinking… Well, great.. I messed this up! There is no way it’s going to be hot anymore.  It’s well over that 24 hour mark.

By that point, I needed an afternoon coffee anyway so I set up my little weekend coffee spot and broke out the camera to test this out.

The coffee was the Thermos Heritage Blend, by Dark Matter Coffee.  The coffee snob in me would say there were definitely notes of dark caramel, cocoa, and dark chocolate.   It was perfectly hot and smooth!
