Closet & Office Reveal
The wait is finally over! My closet and office reveal is officially on the blog. I’ve been snap chatting about this beautiful room for a few weeks now, and here it is! Let me give you a little insight into my decorating mind. I tend to not finish things because I get overwhelmed and frustrated that I can’t find what envision in my head. Why don’t these stores sell what’s going on in my head!?! Needless to say, I’ve been working on this office/closet for over a year. I initially wanted it to be a bright, white guest room with a bed. I quickly realized, I needed my own office space and sharing Joey’s just wasn’t going to work any more, so I ditched the bed and turned this room into what I consider a bloggers dream. (I will be linking everything I can at the bottom of this post!) 
I really wanted a space that made me feel inspired. Part of my job is being creative, so I need to channel my creativity from the inspiration around me. I wanted to be sitting in a room that felt like a Pinterest board. 
I started the room with my favorite color pallete of pinks, tossed in lots of white for a light and airy feel, and accented it with gold and black. This made the perfect combination of feminine chic. 
My friend Zoe, (she blogs at Zoe With Love) had the brilliant idea of upholstering my desk chair with a bright, floral print. I never in a million years would have thought of this. Honestly, I was kind of hesitant, but I love Zoe’s style and her home decor, I knew I just had to trust her on this one, so I ordered the fabric and took my chair to Wesolek’s Custom Upholstry. They did a beautiful job and were even extremely accomodating to my short timeline that I needed it done by. I would highly recommend working with them!
Thanks to my friends at Minted, I was finally able to complete my gallery wall. Minted is an online marketplace connecting you with independent artists from all over the world. Minted sources it’s pieces through on-going art competitions! I love this concept and feel proud shopping their hard work!
My friend Brianne (who blogs at Just A Girl Boss), is the gallery wall queen. She puts up the best gallery walls you can imagine! For me, this was another project I had been working on for a few months. After buying endless amounts of items to hang on the wall, I was able to narrow it down to these key pieces, and I couldn’t be more happier with the result.

The other thing I desperately needed help with was finding a rug! The rug was actually the hold up for me finishing this room last year. I’m not sure what it is but I have a difficult time matching rugs to rooms. Zoe sent me over some inspiration and then I stumbled upon this rosette rug from The Land of Nod, that I couldn’t pass up! It was the perfect shade of pink and I fall in love with any 3D rosette design.

Great job Ashley! I love having a whole room dedicated to my office at my house, it makes it feel like you’re going to work each day and it’s so much easier to be productive! You’re going to get so much great work done in this beautiful space!

Seriously …OFFICE GOALS! I love your style, and I visited No. 14 Boutique a few months back when Britany Fuson was in town and loved Bri’s style also. You did such a great job, I would love to cozy up in this space any day…and it’s so bright and inspirational too!

Gorgeous! I am in love with your office chair. Such a great idea! My office doubles as my painting studio, so I’ve got to be ok with paint getting on anything I put in there.

I honestly have looked all over for that gold bicycle and can not seem to find that exact one. Is that one you got from somewhere else that you spray painted?
