Celebrating National Dunkin’ Day with Dunkin’

We are celebrating National Dunkin’ Day today with Dunkin’!  Of course, I don’t need much reason to celebrate good coffee because I do everyday, but when it’s an official holiday, I think it’s important to make a big deal out of it!  Charlie and I love having Mother/Daughter dates so we are picking up a coffee for Mama and a hot chocolate for my little to celebrate.  Dunkin’ is offering a free medium iced coffee or medium hot coffee with any purchase for today only.  (Limit 1/order/day. Over the summer, Charlie and I began a new tradition! We would plan to go on a little date together to get some ice cream and just spend a bit of quality time together. It was the perfect way for us to add a little sense of normalcy into our routine, get out of the house, and carve out some time to spend together just the two of us – ice cream was just the added bonus!

With the temperatures starting to drop and the seasons switching over to fall now, I knew I wanted to find a way we could continue spending our special time with each other so we decided to start switching it up with Dunkin’! I recently found out how much Charlie loves a hot chocolate, so I thought this could be the perfect option.  Dunkin’ coffee, hot or iced, is always a go-to option for me.  It’s flavor is great even on its own so I usually don’t add sugar to it at all.  I also love the Oat Milk additions they’ve incorporated for anyone who is non-dairy!

In exchange for her favorite ice cream treats from the summer, Charlie loves Dunkin’ hot chocolate with a dollop of whipped cream on top, of course!  Plus, who can resist a Munchkin (or maybe five)?! I love that we can keep this tradition going through the Fall and Winter months as well because Dunkin drive-thru makes it so easy for us to grab our treats and get going if we want to spend our day out and about instead!

Of course, I’m loving the fall menu right now which is full of all of the most delicious pumpkin and fall options for their coffees and donuts. I don’t even care if it makes me #basic – they’re so good! I will definitely be trying more of their fall menu over the next couple of weeks. For any of my expecting mamas, Dunkin also has some of the best and only decaf iced coffee I’ve tried – highly recommend!
