Beauty update…
Helllo lovelies!! Summer is in full swing and usually with the change in season I always do a little make-up/facial routine update to change things up a bit. Here are some new additions to my make up collection and some oldies but goodies that I use all year round. {Starting from left to right}.
Cetaphil Skin Cleanser– My skin was looking pretty dull and my sister-in-law told me about this cleanser that was non-comedegenic {and inexpensive} that I had to try. It’s no surprise that I absolutely love it. It’s gentle and perfect for all skin types. It smells so fresh and the best part about this baby is it won’t break the bank {Don’t worry- I make up for this later.. isn’t that how it always goes???}
Miracle Worker– This is an oldie but goodie- it is kind of pricey, but especially in the summer we all need something with an SPF. This beauty has an SPF 50+, anti-aging, and moisturizing power. It’s lightweight so my face always feels soft and smooth.
Mac Bare Study– This is my all the time base for my eyeshadow. It helps make my eyeshadow stay all day long.
Smashbox BB Cream concealer– This is a newby- an all in one concealer. I love it because it’s very light. The last one I tried it was so thick it caused creases under my eyes! Yuck!{We all know we don’t need any more creases!!} This one goes on smooth, reduces the look of puffiness, fine lines, wrinkles, and conceals dark circles. LOVE IT!
Georgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation– A girl at work introduced me to this product and I had to try it. I have normal to dry skin and I love the “dewy” look on people. A little shine in the right places looks gorgeous. This foundation will do it. It’s full coverage and so light {Notice a pattern here?} with a touch of luminessence so you have a nice glow to your skin.
Nars Blush in color “Orgasm”– This is an all around amazing blush that goes with any skin tone! Add some color to those little cheekies!
Sephora water proof eyeliner– Literally stays on all day! At $13 and over 20 different colors- this is a must have.
Philosophy Lip Gloss– This is a recent discovery, with delicious flavors such as coconut frosting or animal cracker, these add the perfect amount of shine that last. I used to not wear lip gloss because it would just come off within 5 minutes of wearing it, but this one doesn’t. It moisturizes and shines. I used to be bummed when I would leave it at home, so I just bough a few to keep everywhere (car, purse, etc.)
Bare Minerals Mineral Veil Powder– The perfect setting powder. Always a must in my make-up drawer.
Bare Minerals Warmth – Another item that is always in my routine- with my pale skin, I need to add a kiss of sun to my cheeks and this is how I do that.
Too Faced Natural Eye Shadow– The perfect summer pallet. I keep finding myself going to this pallet every day this summer! There are so many gorgeous combinations to make with these colors. It even comes with an idea booklet to help you out!
