Charlotte’s nursery reveal is finally here! What seemed like eternity along with a lot of indecisiveness is finally over! We couldn’t be happier with how the nursery decoration turned out. I feel like this room fits our sweet baby girl perfectly. <I’m linking everything from the nursery below. If I didn’t link something, please feel free to ask where it’s from!>
Backstory: I found this perfect wallpaper that I knew I HAD to have for the nursery. My entire vision was wrapped around this wall paper. Joey was not that interested in trying to master the skill of hanging wallpaper (and apparently nobody else is either). It took forever to find someone who professionally hangs wallpaper. We waited weeks and weeks to get someone in here to measure the room and once I showed this person the wallpaper, they said that it was too delicate and they didn’t want to risk hanging it. I was basically back to the drawing board. <Insert extreme panic because we only had a few weeks left.> I had no vision. I had no idea what I wanted and I couldn’t find wallpaper that I liked as much.
My friend, Brianne, suggested decals. I was skeptical about them but I found these on Etsy and thought why not? They are so much cheaper than the wallpaper, what do I have to lose at this point? The baby was due any day and we only painted the walls white. Keeping in mind this is so not my personality to do something last minute like this. As soon as we put the decals on the wall, I found my vision and I ran with it! All of that stress was totally worth how perfect the nursery turned out!

My favorite part of the room has to be this beautiful crib c/o Bratt Decor against the wall with the peony decals and this custom sign. I saw this quote floating around somewhere on Pinterest and I thought how perfect this would be to put above the bed. Where can I find exactly what it’s in my head? I knew I would never find exactly what I had envisioned so I searched Etsy for a shop that did custom designs. I went with a little Fixer Upper style and chose shiplap and distressed wood for the base. The shop did this adorable calligraphy font in grey to match the room perfectly! I’m considering getting another sign for our bedroom because I love it so much!
Another place I fell in love with during my nursery decoration shopping was The Baby Cubby. I really wanted unique pieces for Charlotte’s nursery and not just things you see everywhere. It was important to make sure I was getting quality pieces so I know they will last. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that not all boutiques provide quality products, but that is not the case with The Baby Cubby. This boutique offers a unique shopping experience compared to other boutiques. They offer FREE shipping, top quality brands backed by their team of moms who test their products, and they will even price match places like Amazon.
I don’t know too many boutiques that offer this level of care and service. After having a newborn, I realize this uniqueness is key because I no longer have time to ship items back that I’m not happy with or ended up being poor quality. It’s important to shop somewhere I can rely on their quality and customer service I need.
I cannot wait to watch baby Charlotte grow up in this little room. Although, I don’t want it to happen too fast!
