Autumn in Vermont…

If you follow along on my instagram, you probably know that Joey and I went to Burlington, Vermont over the weekend!  We were celebrating our 5th anniversary.  {I cannot believe we have been married FIVE years!}  Each year we follow along with the hallmark list of anniversary gifts and try to turn it into a weekend getaway or vacation, naturally.  Last year we went to Napa Valley for fruit.    This year’s gift was wood, so we decided to head up to the New Englad states and check out the Fall foilage in the gorgeous state of Vermont.  I traveled to Vermont a few years ago to visit a good friend from high school and I have been dreaming of going back there during the Fall ever since!  This was the perfect “excuse” to go!

We stayed at the cutest bed and breakfast, The Willard Street Inn.  The property was just beautiful and the breakfast was delicious serving a their own spin on my favorite, eggs benedict, and Joey opted for the sweet apple pancakes.  I’ll be talking a little bit more tomorow about our trip along with some photos of the fall foilage.  In the meantime, I wore this cozy sweater and layered it with a striped tee underneath.
