That’s a Wrap (wrap skirt, that is) for NYFW!

That’s a wrap ( wrap skirt, that is) for NYFW!  I really wanted to embrace the pencil skirt since I don’t get to wear them much anymore.  I found this wrap skirt from Asos and immediately fell in love!  I know they offer free shipping and free returns, so what did I have to lose?

I love the details of the buttons and the angled slit made me look a little taller than I really am.  Heels were a necessity with this look, but I wanted to make this outfit a casual-dressy look by pairing a dressy skirt with this casual, striped button down.  Just because I was in NY and anything goes, (yes, really… anything goes) I got a little crazy and left an extra button open with a lacey bralette underneath!  I’m still pretty conservative with it, so you can’t really tell, but I did it so that’s all that counts.

I wore this look to a few shows and the Shopstyle Social House Event, which was amazing!  They kindly had photographers ready and available to shoot some street looks so I took full advantage of that!  A huge thank you to Shopstyle and Ugla Hauks
