Wearing an Affordable Ann Taylor Skirt for NYFW Day 1
Wow, oh wow… What a whirlwind it was getting to experience New York Fashion week! Before I get into the details, I wanted to share my NYFW Day outfit with this adorable 70’s style Ann Taylor Skirt. The best part? I didn’t spend a fortune on it. At 40% off, I was very pleased with it! One of the things that I thought was a little crazy about NYFW is the amount of money some people had to have spent on their clothing just go to. Don’t get me wrong, I know NYFW is all about designer this and that. I mean come on you are going to see the runway shows of icons!

Don’t get me wrong, I know NYFW is all about designer this and that. I mean come on you are going to see the runway shows of icons, you want to be dressed well! I don’t think think that means you have to spend a fortune to impress people. Maybe you do. All, I know is I wanted to be myself and without spending a ton of money, I received so many compliments on this look and people couldn’t believe that my skirt was Ann Taylor, my shirt was old from TJ Maxx, and my shoes were under $100. I was completely okay with that. I felt comfortable in my outfit and was actually proud that I didn’t spend thousands of dollars on one look!
